چکیده
Despite the success of treatment infected individuals, Helicobacter pylori infection remains most common human bacterial pathogen, infecting half world’s population. In a large part people, H. causes gastroduodenal diseases, in particular, chronic antral gastritis and ulcer disease. The possible role selenium course inflammatory pylori-associated pathology upper gastrointestinal tract children has not yet been fully investigated understood. aim is to determine plasma levels with diseases tract. Materials methods. study included 135 school-age tract, who made up main group (55 (CG), 57 gastroduodenitis (CGD), 23 duodenal (DU), 20 practically healthy age-matched were comparison group. Quantitative measurements performed using inductively coupled mass spectrometry (MS-ICP) on an Optima 2000 DV spectrometer (Perkin Elmer, USA). Results. lowest level was registered pylori-negative DU (67.81 ± 2.67 μg/l), while DU, its higher – 73.56 2.34 μg/l (p < 0.05), however, it did reach A similar direction changes concentration observed CGD: detected pylori-positive CGD compared (75.61 2.48 70.99 2.31 μg/l, respectively, p 0.05). Conclusions. Cytotoxin production by Helicobacter pylori from patients with upper gastrointestinal tract diseases.
A cytotoxin produced by some Helicobacter pylori strains has recently been identified. The cytotoxin induces intracellular vacuolization of cultured cells. The aim of the present study was to examine the frequency of occurrence of cytotoxin-producing strains of H. pylori from subjects with upper gastrointestinal disease including nonulcer dyspepsia, gastric and duodenal ulcer disease, gastroeso...
